Question: My question is, just like obeying the commands and prohibitions from Allah s.w.t is fard, does this same apply to the commands of Rasullah s.a.w?

Answer: In the name of Allah, most gracious most beneficent.

Indeed the same rule applies in obeying the commands of Rasulullah s.a.w in all aspects of our lives. Especially in commands and prohibitions as much as possible. Leaving it without any valid reason will surely earn sins.

The almighty Allah s.w.t says:

And whatever the Apostle gives you, accept it, and from whatever he forbids you, keep back, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is severe in reattributing (evil)”.

Also the Prophet s.a.w said: “So if I forbid you do something, then keep away from it. And if I order you to do something, then do of it as much as you can”.

So, you can understand with the both statements Allah and hHis mesenger s.a.w has put emphasis on this particular ruling.
