Question: If for any reason I missed the Jama’ah in the mosque and I pray at home, should I recite the Qira’ah aloud or quietly for jahri Salah?
Answer: If you missed the Jama’ah in the mosque and you pray at home, you can either recite aloud or quietly in those Jahri Salah for example, in Magrib, Esha and Fajr.
In contrast, for the Imam, it is obligatory (wajib) to recite aloud in those Jahri Salah. But as for a munfarid (individual) it is an optional act either to do aloud or do quietly. However, it is better to recite it aloud during those Salah.
